Rare blood transfusion attempted on a tiger cub

Veterinarians did a blood transfusion on a tiger cub which is 7 months old. It was beaten by villagers in Central India. The cub recieved emergency treatment on Sunday. The cub, nicknamed Juhi, was rescued two weeks after the villagers attacked her. Juhi is in serious condition because frightened villagers beat her with sticks thinking she might eat the villager's children or cattle. The blood transfusion started when the vets notice that Juhi's hemoglobin levels dropped to a very low and dangerous rate. Right now the blood transfusion is complete, but Juhi is still in a terrible condition.

In all, at least 30 threatening letters were sent and each letter contained an unidentified powder. The FBI, Postal inspectors, and local authorities have been investigating this powder. New planet found in Constillation Leo

On April 10 2008, Scientists from the university of London have discovered a planet orbiting a star in the Constillation Leo. The planet is a total of 30 lightyears away from Earth. It is the smallest planet to date, however it has a masss that is 5 times bigger than Earth's. One full day on this planet is equal to three weeks here on Earth.
The new planet, named "Gj 436c" can complete it's revolution around it's sun in only 5 Earth days. Gj 436c's current temperature is 127-470 degrees celsius. It is predicted that the planet is a rocky one. It is also predicted that it has a radius 50% greater than the Earth's radius.
